I grew up in Wausau, Wisconsin. After graduation from Newman High School I earned undergraduate and law degrees from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.

I have practiced law in Chilton, Wisconsin, for my entire professional career.

My wife, Lori, and I have lived in Sherwood, Wisconsin, since 1991. We have two sons, Bennett and Carter.
