Although now retired from the practice of law, beginning in 1971, Skip litigated personal injury and commercial disputes for both plaintiffs and defendants putting over 300 trials under his belt. Once he stopped working in the courtroom, Skip spent the entirety of his practice helping parties resolve their disputes without the need for further litigation. Since 1996, he mediated more than 3600 cases in Wisconsin, Minnesota, Michigan, Texas, Illinois, Iowa, and California. Prior to joining the firm, he was in the U.S. Navy JAG Corps.
In 2023, Menn Law Firm, Ltd. celebrates his exceptionally bright legal mind, character, career, and all that he has been to so many colleagues, clients, and legal communities in Wisconsin and beyond. For nearly 50 years, Menn Law Firm was fortunate to have had Skip’s natural and compassionate leadership. He was an exceptional trial lawyer, and the presence of his legal practice will surely be missed.
“… always a gentleman. His perspective is very balanced … he gives people the kind of guidance that a neutral should. He’s always prepared. And he makes the people involved in the process feel at ease.”
